Details that matter
- Manufacturer, model, year, operating hours
- Engine power, transmission, four-wheel drive
- Tyres and their condition
- Hydraulics, PTO, front loader or front linkage
- Harvesters: working width, header, drum hours (if available)
Papers and records
Have vehicle papers or the operating permit, service records and invoices for major repairs ready. For registered vehicles, the usual steps for deregistration or transfer apply at handover.
Photos
Photograph the machine, cab, hour meter, type plate, tyres and attachments. For harvesters, pictures of header and threshing unit help.
